Bulletin for August 2

“But me? I will see Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I will be filled by seeing Your image.”
– Psalm 17:15 (CEB)

*Call to Worship:

Come and worship, all you who love and serve the Lord— outsiders and insiders, old-timers and newcomers, the young, old and the in-between. Come as you are, for this is God’s house—a house of prayer for all people, and God welcomes each one who comes.

*Hymn: Break Thou the Bread of Life," #599

*Prayer: (Rev. Richard J. Fairchild’s Kir-shalom website)

Hear the Good News: Paul writes to Timothy: "Do not be ashamed of testifying to God, who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not in virtue of our works but in virtue of God's own purpose and the grace God gave us in Christ Jesus years ago. By that grace we are saved. Let us believe the good news of the gospel! In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. If you would have the fullness of joy that God has stored up for you, be you likewise gracious and forgiving. Amen."
